This is my response to them
Dear Cllrs Gomm, Bunyan and Candidates Adams and Parsons.
I have just had the latest In Touch, posted through my door and to my amazement I see that Step Free Access is mentioned, it reads like the Conservatives at CBC are responsible for getting the funding for Flitwick. You also use the campaign name Step Free Access, I realise that this is not an infringement of copyright, but it would have been nice, or even polite to ask to use the campaign name as this implies that the campaign is somehow linked to CBC and the Conservative Party.
May I remind you that the campaign is a CROSS PARTY campaign and not linked to any individual political party. I would also like to remind you that CBC have been talking about getting lifts at Flitwick station for some 30 years, with no success, as soon as the campaign got underway and the public got behind it, the government decided to fund lifts at Flitwick Station, an acknowledgement of this would have been much appreciated.
I can give you a full rundown of the Judicial Review, that I had started against the government and the reason for the government giving Flitwick the funds for Lifts and a new bridge, please contact me and get the actual facts behind the decision.
I realise that you have an election coming up, but by not giving the facts as they stand in any literature that you send out is not only disrespectful, but downright rude.
This email has been sent to all my supporters along with the article in the latest In Touch, so you can expect a backlash for the statement in this issue, all I ask is be truthful, is that to much to ask for our politicians?
Kind Regards
Ian Cook (Founder of Step Free Access)
