Amendment to Motion F27 - Connecting Communities: Building a Transport Network Fit for the 21st Century

Whilst ALDTU broadly welcomes this motion we are concerned that it does not specifically give any commitment to making railways or indeed public transport fully accessible to all disabled people including level boarding and step free access

After Line 92 insert and renumber accordingly:

10. Ensure all new and existing public transport vehicles and infrastructure are fully accessible including step free access and level boarding as soon as possible.

Lets see if any other political party is able to do the same, I will just state that this is a cross party campaign and we need all Political Parties to get behind us.

This is a big step and lets hope it gets noticed by the press.
